Inspection after bathroom’s renovation
I am more than satisfied with the service provided by Bo Schreurs at Premiumkeur.
I contacted Premiumkeur because I suspected that my bathroom renovation had not been carried out properly. Initially, I was told that the waiting time for an inspection would be about two weeks. However, they rearranged their schedule, and as soon as an earlier slot became available, an inspector visited my apartment just two days later.
Bo Schreurs was exceptionally generous with his time. He listened carefully to all of my concerns and conducted a thorough, meticulous inspection. Not only did he confirm my observations and suspicions, but he also identified several additional issues that I had not noticed myself. His expertise and attention to detail were truly impressive.
On the very evening of the inspection, Bo sent me his preliminary findings, allowing me to forward them immediately to the contractor and begin the legal process without delay. Just two working days later, the comprehensive inspection report was completed.
I am extremely grateful for Bo’s professionalism, responsiveness, and dedication. His work has given me the confidence and evidence I needed to move forward. I would not hesitate to recommend Premiumkeur and Bo Schreurs to anyone looking for an independent, knowledgeable, and reliable building inspector.

Fast, professional, and very thorough – highly recommended!
We asked for a standard architectural inspection and were able to arrange an appointment with Tim from Premium Keur on the same day. Tim was quick to reply, helpful and professional, and he examined the apartment very carefully. He was clear and efficient throughout the process and gave us the report the next day. His support was really helpful!

Highly professional service, though intake communnication can be improved
I really appreciate the professional service and advise from Tim Hollenberg, who helped to perform a technical check of the new house, and also another one for my own house in a row. He was thorough yet quick, attentive to details and also friendly, politely answering the questions on the go. He also took time to explain in english his observations and associated risks. Report was available on the next day, and I found no errors or missing information. So I highly recommend Tim!
There was some confusion during intake, it was not clear due to the business whether company can make a technical check or not. So some improvements can be done there, but overall, I think it’s still 5!

Leak Detection
I have been struggling for the last few years with leaks on the roof that after many attempts to fix still remain.
I reached out to PremiumKeur to finally try to find out what really needs to be done and have a report so I can share.
I was visited by Bo Schreurs and after his investigation, he was able to share with me on the spot with pictures the reasons why the leakages are there.
He also helped me understand which repair work was properly done versus which one was not.
The full report arrived on time even though we were close to holidays period.
Highly recommend, very personal and caring for your current problems while very professional too.

Was a pleasure dealing with Daan at Premiumkeur.
We hired him for a building inspection for an apartment we bought.
He was available to inspect the property the day after we contacted him and we received a detailed report 2 days after the inspection.
The report was easy to understand with explanations of the priority/urgency of any work we need to do in future and cost estimates for the work. We’ll be relying on his report for years to come to make sure we’re taking care of our home properly.
His rates are reasonable and he is professional.

Daan was extremely thorough and detailed in his inspection for me of a property that had a number of questions marks around it. He approached the property with a forensic level of scrutiny including surveying the roof. Also, on top of his professionalism, he’s a great guy, very easy to chat with and happy to give his honest advice. Daan is looking out for you.

Best money I have ever spent. Daan & Tim have so far saved our lives twice. They are incredibly professional, great attention to details and it truly feels like they care. I cannot recommend this company enough. Do not buy a house without consulting them first. And do not forget to check the crawl space regardless of where the house in Amsterdam is. If i could give them 100 stars, i definitely would have.

Premiumkeur helped us with their ‘bouwkundige keuring’ during the process of buying a home in Amsterdam, and we are so happy to have contacted them! Daan had already informed himself about the building beforehand and knew the history of it! The inspection was conducted with great attention to detail, he discovered things that I think others would have missed. Can only recommend this service, 5*!

The report arrived the next day, with clear details on recommended repairs, cost estimates, and priorities (immediate, short-term, and long-term). Super professional, truly independent, and highly recommended! We were so impressed that we hired him again for our next property inspection shortly after that. 🙂

It took me a long time to decide who to trust with the analysis of crucial structural decisions throughout the coming decades. In the past my object was patched left and right whenever it was needed. Planning ahead and identifying major risk management and cost savings through genuine expertise was a long needed dream. I am very grateful to have met a team, with such empathy, operational structure, speed and critical thinking – overall the best kind of expertise to work with. The customer orientation is top class, while being open for any discussion during consultation. If I could give 20 stars, I would.

Had a great experience with Premiumkeur for the technical inspection when buying the house. Great communication and at the house they analysed everything and patiently explained to us (in English) what the problems were, approximating the costs for reparation and even more in detail (and with pictures) in the report. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

New to the Netherlands, we purchased a flat in Utrecht and sought a comprehensive structural inspection to ensure it was sound but also to seek suggestions for possible improvements. We were delighted with the services of Structural Inspection Amsterdam . The office were very helpful, with no Dutch, the friendly receptionist understood the brief and fitted us in quickly. Upon arrival, Tim Hollenberg was friendly, professional and very willing to explain his procedures and findings as he progressed his inspection. He divided his findings into a small number of jobs he felt should be executed quickly to save on bigger problems later and recommenadtions for longer term items we should address. He also shared observations on small, simple improvements that might improve the space usage and running costs. He also made observations about the exterior of the building that we will share with the VVE. His comprehesive written report was with us in 24 hours with the findings clearly listed, relevant phots and recommendations. Even indicative job prices were provided. For a very reasonable price we received a very professional and practical report. Tim provided clear explanations and great advice. I would highly recommend this service or any property buyer or owner who wants to secure the value and safety of a building.

Very happy with Bo. He did an extensive inspection of our roof, took the time for it and explained us very carefully what the problems were and how they could have been solved. He was very friendly and the rapport came in a few days. If you need a carefully made inspection by a nice person, I definitely recommend him.

Daan came out to do a structural and foundation inspection at an apartment I am considering buying. I was very pleased with the attention to detail, obvious advanced knowledge in these areas and the use of high quality equipment to take measurements. In person explanations were very clear (in English!), with useful tips being offered too. I have had experience with another company’s structural inspection at the same location, and while their report was satisfactory, the level of detail and extra issues found by Daan made paying for the report from Premiumkeur well worth it. Top company, high quality service!

Bo provided a very deep building inspection for a house we wanted to buy built in the 1930’s. He took his time and went through every single room, wall, section of the house and garage. Found some interesting issues with the house which we would’ve never spotted ourself. We are extremely grateful for your time and extra effort you’ve provided. Will recommend the company to everyone at my business if they need an inspection.

Great experience. I highly recommend Premiumkeur! I consulted them for a roof inspection including a leak investigation. Already the very first contact via phone was friendly, professional and supportive. Fred was available right away and provided an independent second opinion on the state of the roof and terrass. He took a lot of time to explain the source of the leaks and resulting damages to us. He also provided expert advise on who is responsible for the repairs. This was extremely helpful for us in the further process with other parties involved. The final technical report is very detailed and all problems are clearly described. Hands down, the best service: truthful, thorough and valuable.

We are in the process of buying an apartment and Daan helped us out with the technical inspection. He made a detailed study and gave us an explanation in person , instead of asking us to ‘just wait for the report’. It was a good, clear explanation and he even gave us tips on what we could do for better maintenance of our house, plus the pros and cons of certain ‘decisions’ that are important but not urgent. eg. changing the boiler. Very helpful and patient!

I reached out to Fred after having a stubborn leak in our roof to get an independent point of view, since every roofer seems to have a different opinion on the sources of leaks. He was very thorough in his approach, and provided advice on how to address the problems he uncovered. Fred even came by a second time as the weather conditions weren’t optimal during his first visit. I now feel more informed about the state of my roof, and feel more confident in dealing with roofers to address the issues going forward.

What can I say? Fred and Bo are THE BEST. Fred saved us from buying a house that had serious foundation problems and would have cost us 300K+ to fix this. He shared his concerns and advised us to stop the deal. He is extremely knowledgeable and very professional. After this we decided to look for another house which we actually found and after calling Fred again..we bought it.. I can highly recommend Premiumkeur.

For everybody who is interested in buying real estate in Amsterdam and in need of a technical building inspection, I highly recommend Fred Tokkie – Premiumkeur BV. Fred is independent and guards your interests very highly. As a former contractor Fred has a lot of experience in construction and knows the costs of repairs or renovations. Fred inspected for me a monumental canal house in the city center. Freds technical report, in which the problems and repair costs are clearly described, also helped greatly in reducing the purchase price. Again, please contact Fred when in need for an independent and professional technical building inspection.

Very happy to have taken the technical inspection with Fred when purchasing our new home. He was able to make an appointment quickly, met me at the property with a colleague taking me really everywhere in the house (also on the roof), went through everything in detail and he explained everything along the way. In particular we noted an issue with the crawl space that was significantly understated on the report we were previously provided, Fred showed me the real extent of the issue and we used it in our negotiation of the purchase price, saved us a real headache down the line. Cheers Fred

Recently we purchased a house in Amsterdam and we assigned Fred to do our technical inspection. I cannot recommend enough his service – he was extremely attentive, did a thorough inspection, had a critical eye and noticed every aspect of the house that require work or could result in future investments. Fred is definitely the person you want on your side to help you get a realistic snapshot of the condition of the property. He’s also very knowledgeable about different aspects- roof work, foundation, construction work, elevators etc and served as an advisor to us during the whole process.

Fred is a top notch inspector in Amsterdam His services were definitely worth the cost. While inspecting our new home (pre offer) he was extremely detailed. He climbed the roof to check the tiles and even laid on the bathroom floors to check the level of the tiling and plumbing. With his construction background and thorough approach, Fred caught all the snags. He then provided us a report that saved us money and future headaches as the selling party addressed these as part of the purchase agreement. These services were great for the savings, but also for the peace of mind that our new home to be was technically sound. Thanks Fred!

I am really happy with the provided work by the Team “Premiumkeur” and Mr Fred T. ! They are independents, professional and punctual. The inspection of the crawlspace was properly done (dive into it , do the checks and pictures,…). Post-inspection we had a short discussion and advises (within corona measure rules, of course) The digital report came after payment as described; It is well detailed and with good advises. For Future inspections I will definitely give them a call again !

As advertised, Premiumkeur performed a thorough inspection and directly fed back all findings to us (buyers). Without access to inspect the foundation, they performed level measurements to assess potential issues. The inspection highlighted possible issues with the foundation, which was thoroughly discussed with us. Upon following up over the next days it turned out that the foundation was (luckily) replaced 12 years ago. All the measured values and findings were spot on with old inspection reports. Premiumkeur even looked at the new foundation drawings and provided feedback to us. Definitely recommend using Premiumkeur as they will tell you what you need to hear and not just what you want to hear.

Fred was responsive, open and thorough. He set a date for the inspection the day I called, and a few days later we were through. He did an extremely thorough walk-through, including a walk on the roof, and checked all the window frames. Following, he shared a detailed report with proposed costings for some of the fixes, which the owner is taking care of. Fred is independent and truly works for the buyer. Highly recommend!

I was nicely surprised seeing Fred today on the TV today ” House Rules Holland”. He is the best structural inspector/ bouwkundig Inspecteur out there. He helped us to buy one of the most amazing houses that I ever seen (in Utrecht) and he helped us to avoid to buy a ruin in the centrum of Utrecht that was strongly advised by our selling agent “aankoopmakellar” . My advice to the people buying a house is: “do not take a selling agent of aan ankoopmakelaar” just use the service of a good structural inspector/ bouwkundig Inspecteur. I see a few negative reviews about Fred and I don’t believe in any of them! Fred helped us to avoid a trap that our own “selling agent” made for us with the rest of his corrupted group of selling agents and structural inspectors working in the centrum of Utrecht. The truth is that they are working in group and that there is no such a thing like “aankoopmakelaar” – someone who works only for you. They are selling ruins in the centrum of Utrecht at the high racketing price . If the selling agent propose you his own structural inspector please do not say yes!!! Ask if you can bring you own specialist. Did they say NO? Then don’t buy this house! You do not need a selling agent/aankoopmakelaar!!!! You just need a good structural specialist at your side. Thank you one more time Fred. And once again I am happy that you found your place in ” House Rules Holland”! Thank you for helping people finding their dream house 😊.

Nothing hides from Fred. Since I moved to the Netherlands I bought twice, sold once, heavily renovated once. All delicate situations that, unless you are an expert of the peculiarities of Dutch constructions, I would warmly recommend not to face by yourself; specially when the interests of different real estate agents of this mad housing market are involved. Bad surprises are too often behind the corner. I had the chance to use Fred three times and I would never make a move anymore without him.

I’m at the beginning of an extensive apartment remodelling project and I made an appointment with Fred for some advice. He met with my architect and I and gave us some very honest feedback including that we did not need a bouw report, which we thought me might want to get before starting. My girlfriend and I were looking for a new place in Zaandam. Being this our first home, we were highly unexperienced in both the buying process and the assesment of the house itself. On top of that, more difficulties came from the fact that we are expats, making it harder to collect trustworthy opinions and information. Fred proved to be an irreplaceable asset, providing insights on both the estate conditions and the fair price. He first proved his value when we called him to inspect an old, detached house, that we were interested in. We fell for the spacious garden and the ‘rustic’ feel, but Fred was quick to point out its many structural deficiencies and the high maintenance costs even in the short term. These were highly valuable insights, as the real estate agency charged with the selling DID NOT MENTION ANY OF THE SERIOUS STRUCTURAL AND FOUNDATIONAL ISSUES. In addition, Fred was flexible and fast in supporting us when we found an appropriate accommodation, making time to come check it out and provide us with a price estimate. Geweldig!

I contacted Fred to ask if he can make an appointment to do an inspection of a house we’re going to buy. He told us when he can find a time, but also he asked about the house (when it was built and what the roof is made of etc.) and so he said honestly we do not need to spend money on an inspection because in that house it will all be fine. He also mentioned a few areas that we can check ourselves for possible problems and told me about the costs of fixing that. Altogether Fred’s free advice saves us 200-300 euros which is a lot when you need to buy everything for your new household!

What a service! We were in desperate need of some professional advise in regards to our soon to be sold house. We got a very professional report that clearly showed things we needed to do to sell our house in professional manner. We highly recommend this company!

Fred is a total professional. He reacts very quickly to any questions, no matter what time of day you call or email, and he is always very thorough with his advice. During the crawl space and foundation inspection itself, Fred took a lot of time to explain what he was doing so that I could also understand the process he was undertaking and gave me a fantastic lesson in everything from wood rot to the underlying structure of the house. He then advised me on the potential of the property based on the findings and what repair costs could be expected. I would heartily recommend Fred to anyone wanting to undertake a thorough and professional inspection of a potential purchase property with total peace of mind.

Fred was great. We got his reference from a friend who vouched for him and he was not wrong. Fred was very patient with us right from beginning since we are expats and knew nothing about the process. He gave us the exact tips we needed and did a fine job. Thank you so much, Fred
